Research Emphasis:

The occurrence, fate, transport and activity of microbial pathogens in natural and man-made ecosystems such as groundwater, surface water, wastewater, bioaerosol and food-processing. Development and testing of rapid diagnostic molecular assays for microbial pathogens of concern to human and animal health. Evaluating public health risks from microbial pathogens in various environments.
